Daryl van Wouw has come out with some strange shoes, a variation of Converse's Chuck Taylors.
I don't get these--not at all. Are they supposed to be shoes? Are they supposed to be pants? I don't even get to put these on! I feel like it would take absolutely forever to lace these sho-ants up!

The main reason that I started this blog (besides the voice in my head, of course) is to learn more about the fashion industry on my own. Subsequently, the reason behind my thirst for knowledge is that I'm applying for an internship position at BrandHabit.com. Basically, the position calls for documenting, categorizing, and analyzing fashion trends from top magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and InStyle.
I'm pretty stoked about the interview, which is on Tuesday. For a second, I didn't think I was going to make it (considering I'm in Southern California at the moment), but luckily, my flight comes in earlier than I expected. I'm sure I wow-ed Carla Morton (CEO & founder) with my cover letter.
It probably without a doubt is the best and most original cover letter I have ever written and submitted. I am very proud of it. I think it shows my personality as well as my interest in the position tenfold.
Right now, I'm going over possible outfits in my head, but I might just resort to buying something new for the interview. My goal is to wow Carla again with my style--professional with a hint of crazy to show off my personality.
